Hello all,
I leave in an area that does not offer any highspeed options. I am
thinking of getting this DirectPC from Expressvu but I am reading lots
of negative things. For example speed, billing, fair useage, etc.
Most of these post however are from 1999-2001....not much for recent
years. Is DirecPC worth it?

Thanks in advance and please post any of your thoughts...

If you live in an area that is not serviced by alternate means, such as
cable or dsl, then yes.

The cost is about double or about $99 per month, but worth it as it is
far better than dial up

There is a download limit of 169 megs per 24 hours and if you exceed it
they will scale your usage back for 6-12 hours

You will find that http://www.lincsat.com will give you a bit better
customer service and price than bell
