Ok, I bought another dish 500 dish with the Dishpro LNB knowing that
it should be compatible with my Expressvu receiver. Found out that my
old 2700 E-Vu reciever is not compatible with that. I was then sold an
sw21 switch to connect to the Dish Pro, but it still didn't work. The
dealer sold me a legacy LNB but told me to keep the Dishpro LNB
whenever I decide to upgrade my receiver. He said the older 2700
recievers were compatible with the Legacy combined with a sw21 or 500
twin switch. So, I Brought back the legacy LNB and hooked that up
along up the switch.
It appears that my receiver or satellite dish cannot combine the
signals from the 91 nd 82 locations. Either one satellite gets or I
move the dish so the other gets. This should be a breeze. I have my
dish 500 working perfectly on my Dishnetwork 110 and 119 satellite,
although I'm using a 301 receiver with that. For expressvu, which
satellite should I aim at first to get the other?? Anyone also know
the skew angle for Northern California??

Try this URL, if none of the cities listed are near you, you can input your
exact Latitude and Longitude and choose Expressvu Dual Satellite and it will
tell you your AZ/Elev. and skew settings.
