After I spent 100 bucks I realised that my DishPro twin LNB dish is
not compatible with my 2700 receiver that I bought in 1999. I'm
pissed. It looks like I will have to upgrade my receiver at some point
in the near future. One concern I had is when I hit the 91 satellite I
got a good signal about 80. I noticed that not one of the even
transponders recieved any signal at all. Is it just an incompatibility
issue with the dish pro switch in the twin LNB and the receiver or is
it possible that my twin LNB is defective?

Thanks.

It is the nature of Dishpro dish equipment being stacked that you get
that effect.

It is because the 2700 does not know how to tune the opposite polarity
on a stacked LNBF.
